Just Finished: Jurassic Park 2: Lost World

My comments...

Starship troopers

Im only about 80 pages into Starship troopers and Im really only reading it because a few people recomended it to me. I like it a fair but, enough that I actually want to read it.

Lost World.

I really like this book. The first half was kinda dull but the second have was really well done. Alot more exciting than the first book by far. Theres also a lot of really interesting theories in this one about what happend to the Dinosaurs (not the normal big meteor or crap like that, but more interesting stuff) and how people could face the same outcome.

For anyone that saw this movie, it was horrible, I swear I got so damn angry watching the Movie version of Lost World. The movie is nothing like the book, the basic idea isnt really the same. Theres a good reason the author specifically said he wanted nothing to do with the second movie. because it was nothing like the book.

They're both "chick lit." and really easy reads. Its good to read after a long day of reading school stuff; and they're so funny they actually make me laugh out loud!

It's just as boring as it sounds

The last real book I read was Digital Fortress.

I really liked Dan Brown's books, but they get predictable if you've read more than 1.

I'm trying to get Yarr to read either Digital Fortress or Deception Point.

I love Dan Brown, but he definately follows a formula. Anyways, no one give away anything from any Dan Brown books or else I'll never get Yarr to read one.

I like to reread stories i enjoyed while I was younger. Plus the copy was a gift from my English teacher in high school, so i have a fair bit of attachment.

Just finished: R.a. Salvatore's Legacy of the Drow series. What can I say its not like he amazes me as an author but he tends to be genuinely entertaining to read so its good enough for me. Unlike so many other authors who merely bore me.

Current Book : Polgara the Sorceress 2
Book I finished : Polgara the Sorceress 1

These books are related to The Belgariad and The Malloreon series. There are also Belgarath the Sorcerer 1-2.

Next on the list : Resident Evil series, and maybe I'll read LotR again or The Fionavar Tapestry for the 4th time maybe heh... then I'll start The Belgariad and The Malloreon (5 books each).
