Back when CKD was young and we did roc and other HNMs of that level we got quite a few nice drops, few healing staffs, few serket rings, an enhancing sword, cassie earrings and lots of other stuff.

Well one day there were 2 people in the LS who didnt have a healing staff, me and my good friend and person who i looked up too, Dragonb.

We agreed as an ls and group that dragonb would get this drop. However, like all items we get in CKD, we keep them with in the linkshell. Should you quit, not need them or leave the LS you give them back. This has never been a problem. Its worked out well, people are allowed to use the items and everyone is happy.

Until now, Dragonb has left CKD for TheMonarchy and he will not return the staff.

Hes not the first person to leave the LS with CKD items. Hes just the first to do it and not return them. Infact he blisted me as soon as I brought up the staff.

So this is what I get, I do my best to make people happy and this is what I get.

Well i thought the whole server might like to know what some people do to me.

Oh and for the record, i dont want the healing staff for me, i want it for my ls, I dont even like staffs, ive never even owned a Dark or Light Staff.

Congratulations Dragonb, youre now a thief to me. unless you want to come clean and give back what isnt yours.

yeah people in this game are fucking retards, it's half the reason I left. I hate the fact that no one can be trusted and everyone resorts to petty "leaping boots" scams and stealing people's items. I know Yarr isn't too upset about the staff, but just the fact that Dragonb could be such an assclown. But really you can't trust anyone in FFXI, so live and learn.

What really sucks is that we lost several invaluable members of our LS due to some nonsense that could have been worked out without much trouble. It sucks that we lost Aiame and B because of some misunderstandings, I don't know all the details but from what I've gathered it was just a dumb bunch of nonsense.

For the record, I like B, he waited 5 hours for Noodlebrain, Katryn, myself and our party to finally beat Fenrir raising us several times till we got our PLD tank strategy worked out, finally winning. He never complained once. I'd like to know what led up to all of this bickering junk because B never seemed like the kind of guy that would do something like this without reason.

I had always looked up to Dragonb, as well, being a lower WHM for most of the time I knew him. I tried talking to him about this today, and he, unfortunately, did not even bother to reply to a single tell I sent. I don't believe I have ever personally wronged DragonB in any way, so I was confused by his lack of at least a response along the lines of, "I don't want to talk about this." He simply ingored me and carried about his business in port jeuno.

I'm not going to pretend to know the whole story about what happened, but what I do know is that I didn't play a part. And for him to outright ignore and run away without returning the item (or even explaining why he won't) shows a lack of immaturity, I think.

It's unfortunately that people can take personal squabbles and make them affect entire groups of people. If DragonB has something against someone in the linkshell, he should leave it at that, and not hurt the entire linkshell as a whole. It's especially important in a game that so values reputation and the personal integrity of its players.

Not sure what yarr's intent was by posting this on a public forum, but B just doesn't seem to be the type of person who would run away with a staff when it's not his. I'm only posting this to prevent people who does not know him well from getting a wrong perception of B. I do believe that there is some kind of a story behind this. You never know the whole ordeal until you hear from the both sides.

As for Ridere trying to reach B, I know for a fact that he is AFK alot on his computer when he is not needed. How do I know? I'm also in TheMonarch. I am not going to speculate anything until the whole story comes out.

I cant get B to talk to me. I had no problem talking to him aweek ago, saying hello and how are you and crap like that. But, the second i brought up the healing staff he went silent. I was polite and just said "hey, when can i grab the CKD healing staff off you btw?" when i was talking to him one day.

He hasnt replied since.

I tried to get into the same zone as him for a week but he would always warp then sit in his mog house and log very soon after.
Yesterday I always assume he was afk or didnt see all my /tells about the staff. Trust me, it was a reach assuming that. I mean someone isnt AFK if they zone.

Finally I found him and some people XPing in the Valley. Sure enough B wouldnt even look at me. No hello, no "oh yeah I forgot about that". Just dead silence. I sat beide him for 2 hours (while i did some stuff IRL too) and got nothing.

Aaime died and they had no whm. I said, "can you just tell me where the healing staff is and Ill give you a raise III" no response, and she took a raise I.

I have people in the Dojo who could really use that staff.

And to think I passed that and was happy to see b get it.

I just think that Dragonb not replying isn't going to make it simply "go away" at all. You have something of ours and you agreed that if you quit or leave to LS you give it back. Nothing more nothing less. Now u left the LS you give back that item. This isn't just makeing Dragonb look bad but making this look bad on his LS. All he has to do is Give it back and this is all over... Thread Deleted.

b has been a nice guy in the past, but we all did agree that items in ckd are kept in ckd. he knew this rule well, so honestly he has no excuse and its totally lame on his part.

Actually it says nothing about his LS, I wasn't going to post at first because this is none if my business. I would like to keep it that way, but I will defend something when I need to. CKD and Monarchy are my family and friends. Db has always been great to me, helping me on many occasions never asking for a thing. What happened with this staff is between Yarr or CKD if you will that was there and Db. It has NOTHING to do with Monarchy, Monarchy wasn't there, Monarchy didn't take the staff, Monarchy has nothing to do with it. So no, this doesn't make the LS look like anything, because it has nothing to do with it.

I think b is a great person too.. so I don't quite understand what happened here...

The most I can guess is that the staff is already sold somewhere, and the $ was used for someone else in the Monarchy LS =p

It does actualy Murph. If some one in CKD had a another LS item i know for a fact that Yarr would get that person to hand back the items. The Fact his LS isn't getting him to pass it over is annoying. It dosen't look good on a LS if they have some one in their ls that stole a item from an LS. Heck in CKD we win a voke to a HNM we have 1000 rumors that we voke bot some how. Dragonb has always been Friend which confuses me too but no one is doing anything. This Staff is CKD's item. Not just Yarrs or just mine but we could use that staff in HNM fights and Gods now we can't. Everyone in CKD should be pissed about this. Yarr has been nice about it for a while before the even posted this. It isn't like he msg him once then posted this thread.
