just curious anyone try etude lately?

I heard you can get as much as 26+ with 2 songs of the same type... that's like 2 times what it's used to be right?

It used to be +8 max with a single song and + 2 etude instrument.

yeah... +5+6+2+2 = +15
now from what I heard, it's +9 +2 +13(decrease constantly) +2 = +26
not sure yet... will run a test tonight...

Unless i am way off base both the lowbie and high oens were+6 with no mods. not +5 aand +6 respectively

I suppose its possible i got a bonus from singing skill or something but I doubt it.

i believe its rose harp +1 (i'm at work and can not remember the correct name) but it gives etude + 2

I bought the lowbie Agi, dex, vit, str etudes at lvl 75. And Never got the upper level dex one

I'd be more interested in just the upper level one. Then i could for instance. Soul Voice ballad 2 + Chr etude on myself and Int etude ona blm ( and melee songs on the melees) and get like + 30 something chr with 1 song.

I say that as in making etude more practical... I'm not really interested at all since i quit.

the upper one is the only one that will decrease in time... the lower one will stay constant over the entire duration...

Right but as I understood the patch, the lower one is still +6 +2 and the upper one is now like 14+ 2 -11 over time

The Lower tier Etudes are 9+2 and are static.

The Higher tier Etudes are 14+2 and reduce themselves about 1 stat every 12 seconds so by the time the song wears off you'll only have +1 boost. Makes this one more situational I guess. But having +27 boost to stats even briefly is a hefty boost. It takes a while before this will dip to +16 or below (when having both etudes in effect) so it's still an awesome improvement if you're looking to sing both etudes. Singing the 1st tier isn't bad either as it's +11, only 5 points less then both etudes prior patch. Soul voice and both etudes with proper +1 instrument is a nice +52 Chr for a brief moment .

oh they are those who never cast never melee and just running around doing nothing and get exp off other people... dont really need to care much about them since they dont you any good ^^;

Yeah Bards are nothing but leechers. We make you think we're helping and are busy with our running around but we don't really do much.

from my experience, a bard is someone who sits in jeuno lfg for 4 hours a day and then gives up. i think thats how you define bard.

poor whisp i never lfp more than 30mins on brd most the time i kept getting invites when not even looking for party, heck even when im in an xp pt people send me tells to quit and join them.

Whisp thats how I would describe a Samuraii or a Dragoon. Bards are notorious for being the easiest class to level... Unless there's been a huge spurt of sub 75 bards, but I highly doubt that, you should still be in high deman even if you don't speak japanese, and if the english people are stupid.

That said there are still slow hours. I had great luck from like 7-12 a.m. and like 8p.m. to 2-3 a.m EST. If you can LFG during those time frames and not get a party regularly somehtings fubar'd.
