I would like to know if anyone have to fight the NM or could help us to get Optical Hat .

We will fight the NM 5 times (or 6) at most, (more than that would take too long) .
I don't want to give any date right now because Christmas is coming, and I've not discused with other people who need it, but I would like to get it done after Christmas and before New Years

Narius could be the main tank and I will be back up if I hit 74 by that time (I should). A 3rd tank wouldnt hurt to take care of the pop. We also need at least 3 stunner for aga spell (gades can stun).

Sygus-Brd73
Gades-Rdm/Drk74
Lazyazn-Thf74
Lappi-Whm75



If we get any drop from the pop around (Wooden eye [70k-110k]), only helper will be allowed to lot.

Seriously, I don't know when I will do it, that's why there is no date in the title right now. I might add one tomorrow after I /telled a couple of people to know their disponibility and if they can help.

I started the thread now mainly to find someone to synth our eyes, to give me more time to farm them if they explode.

Chrismas'and New years are another reason why I'm scared to put any real date now, I'm trying to figure a time where the more people could come

Not a problem Sparky :P but if you have the money and see the eyes in a bazaard, you should buy them. Unless you have a thief friend and are hunting eyes for one people, I think it's easier to buy them and farm money instead. All eyes would cost around 300k, the hardest one is wooden and cost around 70k-100k

I've seen most eyes for like 100,000 and I've heard it is not worth it to buy them.. :?

Dodomeki/Damp - Ifrit's Cauldron = You need 2-3melee and someone with barfira (bomb aggro) to kill those. That one worth around 70-80k.

Blubber Eyes/Earthen - Sea Serpent Grotto =: Around 1 per drop, relatively easy and cost 40k

Thousand Eyes/Burning - King Ranperre's Tomb = I camped them for 2 hour and got nothing with TH2. They are around 50-70k

Mindgazer/Golden - Sea Serpent Grotto =I would camp that one if you can go behind the door with a few friend. Drop rate wasnt bad for us, they are easy for lv 70 (2melee and a healer do the job)

Million Eyes/Wooden - Den of Rancor = I never camped it, EM to lv 75 and bad drop rate I guess like other eye. They cost 70-100k


With the exception of wooden, if you're the only one who need it and have a few friend with you, they are worth being camped. But if 3-4people need it, and you can farm 20k/hour, farming might be better ^^

lol well if you want a 64 mnk i can come get my optical hat early ;)

64 is way too low though, and id only be leeching, but that's cool with me ;)

I don't have any problem with that, and I'm pretty sure you could help on the Million Eyes pop :P It would be nice if you could bring a few high level with you if you can
