I must say that I share Shiloh's sentiment, I freaking hate kiting, IMO kiting gods should be something that a PLD shouldn't have to do, they should be able to straight up tank it. PLD endgame is very disappointing for me.

Hmm. Maybe I am not an "old school" PLD like you guys. I have always loved tanking tho, I have always chose PLD in all RPGs with classes. But I like kiting. I dont like it as much as straight up tanking, but kiting is something new. Something I find fun that gets me out of the routine of straight tanking all the time. I dunno, maybe it's just me :P

Yeah, kiting is annoying. At least you don't lose 240 exp everytime Kirin decides he wants to Stonega IV or Stone V you Rune... unless you're lucky that's basically guaranteed 1 shot, then we have to run away and wait for weakness. The only time we've ever fought Kirin head on was when he actually ran out of MP on us. Have all your /DRKs and BLMs constantly Aspiring away at him to speed the process up lol - at least when he's out of mp the strongest attack he has on a PLD is about 700 or so, everything else is pretty easily dealt with.

brd is Very much like that. i don't mind it but allways "awsome Tanking guys" or "Nukes where hitting hard" how about "GJ on elgy and keep Everyone properly buffed so they can do their job while they run around with their heads cut off hitting one macro over an over again" haha

I get into main alliance for ~40 sec. then I'm kicked. At least you get to add a lot more than a few hits for 1300...

Because we all know all melee are useful At least, PLD are in the alliance for those NM, most of the melee don't even make it in.

One of the main reason I'm playing this game is to get all sort of title from HNM, and the only way I could get them is to level BLM now ;/

kiting is alot more exciting than what most classes get to do at least yeah, pld is one of the lucky jobs that you absolutely need for some particular fights, that cant be said for most jobs heh
