I used to rewire network rooms like that. When US Oncology decided to clean up their network, we went to each site and saw the damage that 3-4 years of "The guy over there usually plugs stuff in" will cause to a network room.

I think the worst I ever saw was a network room where the T1 line came in across to a router that was sitting on a cardboard box because they were too lazy to go buy an extension cord to mount it on the wall. 4, 24 port hubs were stacked on the floor (In their defense these were stackable hubs), with network cables running all across the floor, also 5-6 running out the door They hadn't wired those rooms so they just ran their own cable.. across the floor.. of the entire office.. to the workstations.

OMG this is not how I would wire up a networking like this, hell no me and my brother-in-law had ran in to this but much much messy than the one in the pic. Fun part is getting the cables redone and hang them to where they need to be. took us three days to get plm fixed cuzz we also had to rewired the each computer cuzz all ran over too many times, So I had my fun there and made good money too
