This happened to me once, i was in a pt and i was giving the blm some advice because she was getting resisted alot, and well also because i happen to be a 75 blm ,for like a year now.. And they got made at me and kicked me because i made her looks like she didn;'t know what i was doing. People hate getting advice when they think they are doing things right.

I know this might get edited or even deleted. I know that I am coming to you home and disagreeing with you. However, I would like to make some points and give a view from the other side...

To the history of the party:
I am the PLD in that 5 person perma. We have been together from the early 50s. We have all stuck it out through schedule and RL changes. We are a tight nit group. You are not really the first person that we did not gel with in an XP session.

To your performance in the party:
To be honest none of us were impressed with your performance as a SAM. That is not to say you are not a good player. Your play style just does not fit with ours. I personally have nothing against you. We generally look for SAMs because we like the way it fits into the group. We have had several what I would consider good SAMs in the 60s and we decided to stick with them. Lalond, Kaomi, Crescens, and Macattaq(sp) all come to mind right away as SAMs that we liked. I personally wish Havoc had not gone back to DRG and had continued to level with us as a WAR. His play and general attatude worked well in our group. I do not know what it was about you (maybe your hair.... j/k) just did not fit in. However, it is not what you said it is how you said it that got you kicked. No one likes to be told how to do their jobs over party chat. If you had a problem with what someone was doing the most approprate way to give advice is to /tell them.

To you getting a D2:
That is strictly the BLMs call. I will not force or even ask him to give a D2. He will make that call himself. As far as your train... I do not know about you, but I have not left town without Prism Powders and Silent Oils in my inventory for a long time. I always make sure I can cover myself in case something happens.

To Ladydeathstr'i'ke (LDS) being a thief:
I have known him for a long time, longer than he has been Ladydeathstr'i'ke. There is another player Ladydeathstr'y'ke also from Bastok. The most confusing thing is that they both chose the same modle. They 'Y' is a 75 SAM, the 'I' is a 70 RDM and a 70 WHM. If Ladydeathstr'i'ke is a thief, this is the first I have ever heard about it. Like I said I have known him a long time and he has never ever been anything but upfront and aboveboard with me in any dealings.

To the state of being party being n00bs:
Everyone has their opinion, I am not going to try to change yours. You and everyone else in the worlds opinion is based on their experiences. However, I will say this, after you were booted we continued with 5. We did not feel like looking for another member. We consistently hit chain 4 against Anglers for the rest of the afternoon. LDS stayed back and continued to do his thing from the mage line. The only thiing we did different is not SC and not MB. For a party of 69s killing Anglers (lvl 81) with only 5 members, I say we did alright. We actually netted more XP going with 5 in the afternoon than we netted all morning with a 6th.

I am sorry it did not work out between you and our party. I do not think there is any fear of you ever having to party with us again. I know we will see each other on the server simply because it is we all play the game. I personally hold no 'ill feelings’ and if you needed help (a R3 for example) I would gladly look for one for you. However, in XP situations we just will have to avoid each other. (I am sure you feel the same way from reading your post.)

Like I said I just wanted to give a view from the other side. I have to get moving...

you being a tight knit group as you say is nice and all, as is this ls. You've probably jugde him because of him having a yellow pearl that says CKD on the top. People jump to this assumption also with me. Which is quite unfair because i'm actually really nice to people. To be 100% honest. I never even checked him. I had no idea he was in CDK. I really do not care which LS someone is in. Our only goal that day was to reach 70 with buffer for all members of the perma. Again the D2s are left up to the BLM, as stated it is his choice to do D2 or not. As far as leaving him to die... Again I always have a way out, Warp Cudgel, Instant Warp, or powders and oils. I would expect that of any player at later levels.

When I level my whm to 75 (about 1 year ago), NA pts above 60+ is very reliable and exp are better than JP pts most of the time.
But nowadays, there are too many noob even at 70+.
I think forming pts with some trustful persons is the only option.

Marvus, you have posted a nice reply to what happened at your exp party. Unfortunately, nothing you have said still justifies what your party leader did. I have been in countless exp parties and have never seen anyone get booted for giving advice. I doubt Talisin was abusive to any of your party members that justified him being removed 2hrs into the party. Most exp parties last 2-3hrs and you guys could have easily disbanded and reformed if necessary. Instead, your party leader chose the classless way out and just booted Talisin in the middle of nowhere. Hopefully, your friends will use better judgement after this incident...

They develop a big head because regardless of being an average or sometimes below average player they continue to get parties. If I had a dollar for everytime a BLM made everyone wait for his stupid retarded Freeze spell, or RDM wearing melee gear, or a PLD that didn't know he can heal himself I would be rich. It's sad that you can't exp post 4o without certain jobs.

Every job except drg or bst mahaha. Actually, jobs like drk drg sam bst thf mnk get the shaff when it comes to exp. The players that play these jobs have to perform above the average and maintain the high quality of equipment compared to other required exp pt jobs.

Seriously, how often do you invite a below avg skillwise and gimped equip/sj player from any of the jobs above? Now on the other hand I'm pretty sure you invited a crappy RDM/BRD/etc to your pt with a gimped sj and poor equip. I'm on my 4th level 6o+ job atm and this incident that tal happen to involved in doesn't surprise me at all.

Not sure what to say about all this happening, considering the only person I have experience with in the incident is Ladydeathstrike.

Still though, the immature behavior displayed by that exp party towards Talisin lowers my overall respect for the particular group of individuals in question. :\

I've had this happen to me alot of times, not me being booted from the party, but people not respecting the party as a whole. That WHM that lots on things and then tele's on the group because of a small arguement. The Person that says that the party doesn't need a main healer because the party has a PL. (In my opinion your party should be solid and able to stand alone no matter what's going on, who knows when the PL could go AFK and leave the party to die?)

Given the situation, I support Talisin. Sorry to hear what happened to you man. These people that you partied with need to learn how to respect others better. -.-;; Or at least how to be courteous even though they are angry. I fear a calm person who is afraid to show his anger. lol.
