I think the reality we might have to face is that any new jobs they could come up with would be either too stupid or a carbon copy of another job. IE Dancer = BRD and stupid ( just imagine a Galka doing an Irish jig...). About the only one that would work is Blue Mage and BST kinda has that covered, Just doesn't join traditional parties to do so. I think we've gotten about all were going to get. What we should REALLY be asking for is new features fopr exisiting jobs. basically more than half the jobs in the game are melee damage dealers. Only two of those are included into a standard high lvl PT to make skillchains. The combinations of melee jobs are limited due to the type of skillchains. I think we might need a few more weapon types or weapon skills. Like Sai's or Kama's for NIN. More GAX for DRK. Throwing Javelins for DRG would be cool too. This would add more skillchains to the mix, and possibly make these jobs more useful. Thats just my 2 cents.

not officially back yet, except i really do miss all the fun I had with the CKD crew, had some good times man. And all the friends i made, also being the first NA 75 ranger. I loved the fact that people actually sat there and stared at my gear all day haha and even to the 2 losers who /tell me and say "When i grow up i want to be just like you!" (had that 2x) God those were the days. WoW was fun and all, but doesnt have the comfort and rewarding feeling as FFXI did.


Sure hope 360 opens abunch of new things for FFXI. Or even a new FFXI 2 or summtin is made, that be better IMO. Make everyone start all over with all the new things, no JPN whoring everything. CKD and all its members get the game and start on the same server and just tear it up. =) but we can only dream cant we

By the way, I believe it's been confirmed that the XBX360 version will add absolutely ZERO to the game, except longer draw distances and cleaner textures. I forget where I found the interview, but if anything is going to be added at the time, it'll be with the next full expansion...which could theoretically launch alongside the XBX360 release, but I doubt it.

A game that runs cross-platform like FFXI cannot possibly have things added to one system and not another. It would screw up EVERYTHING, and piss off everyone who already owned the game. In any case, who wants one of those X-box 1.2's anyway? X-box sucks. (insert flame war here, in which many people stupidly rebuke and Feep shoves logically flawless arguments down their throats that are so perfect, the people can do nothing but choke and have an epiphany that of course Feep is right, oh whatever were we thinking, oh lord of the universe).
