The closer you are the more acc you have but less damage, and opposite is true, then these bows would be great for fighting upclose where rng damage now blows? I would think that's what's up with all the new bows having opposite lots of - and + stats having acc and att being the stats.

rng dont have anything, plain and simple. i tested it out, and even standing in the "sweet" spot, dmg is gimped. so now for a 400 delay weapon cycle i do 1/4 of what any other melee does. coupled with having a base evasion of 200 (same as whm), and not the best part... i maxed marksmanship merits and it doesnt help with ranged accuracy nerf. apparently when they made changed the accuracy of ranged attacks with distance, they made them too extreme. i have 281 skill and miss 50% slug shots. so now my dmg is severly nerfed, accuracy nerfed. oh and rng have no close ranged defense, so now not only if i farm something as rng i have to melee it to death getting hit almost every single hit due to lack of evasion skill.

thank you SE for seriously killing a job for no reason, it was balanced fine as per dmg / tp cycle with other melees such as war. actually Ilma did more dmg than me pre nerf in a xp pt. next on the fuck you train driven by SE, war and mnk.

someone make a MMORPG that doesnt nerf but adjusts to players getting stronger by adding higher lv content kthx

as for the social life bit haha, yea i have one. i also have a job too! but when i play the game they killed a little piece of it for me, and im mad.

i like rngs, they deal lots of damage, and allow ppl to take down hard monsters in less time than just beating the shit out of it.

But look at it like this. SE introduces the TP nerf: fucks over all jobs, mainly drg and sam, why? because back then THEY rocked, nothin like spamming penta thrust and getting 60tp back each time. We always thought "Oh its the end of the world, im goin to die"

SE introduces RNG nerf: now, you are on the same playing field as all the other melee jobs. Now, you cant just abuse the power and kill shit super fast. Gives you a taste of what other melees have to live with.

Theres nothin we can do about it, we have to live with the nerfs and do what we can to be better. look at some of the 75drgs ingame now a days, charonne, havok, etc. they deal great damage even with the nerf. Look at sams, decimus, tavalin, talisin, etc. they do well too. RNG just need to get used to the new rules and optimize their potential.

And quitting a job ingame because "oh, i dont deal as much damage anymore" cowboy up and stop being such a pussy

they dont have to pay anything for gear really, most of rng gear is cheap, and they choose to play the job, they choose it knowing they pay per arrow, thats their own problem

as for the nerf itself, half of the rng i know are crying about it hardcore, the other half are taking it into perspective , and working around it. i guess it depends on your attitude about the situation

RNG don't have to really deal with the huge prices on melee DD gear and weapons. Minus E.Bow (which is over rated anyway) they get alot of free/cheap gear that's really nice (O.Bow) and only really have to worry about arrows. RNGs were never as amazing as alot of people thought they were, just extremely easy to have perform well. ;p They needed a slight nerf, but I thought making barage not give full TP (when all arrows hit) would have been enough. Haha.
